# State / Instrument / Article Lookup API

> Resolve valid instrument types and stamp articles for a given state. Endpoint: `GET https://api-b2b.stampmitra.in/v1/estamp/states`.

API fee: ₹5 per successful call, pay-as-you-go (lower on Growth and Scale). State procurement fee and stamp duty are quoted per order. Sandbox keys are free. Prices exclude 18% GST.

## List e-Stamp-eligible states

Served from StampMitra's synced master-data catalogue. Requires the `estamp.read` scope.

## List instruments (articles) for a state

`GET https://api-b2b.stampmitra.in/v1/estamp/states/:stateCode/instruments`

Required scope: `estamp.read`

There is no separate instrument entity distinct from an article - this returns the same state-scoped article catalogue as the articles endpoint below. Requires the `estamp.read` scope.

## List articles for an instrument

`GET https://api-b2b.stampmitra.in/v1/estamp/instruments/:instrumentCode/articles`

Required scope: `estamp.read`

`instrumentCode` is treated as a state code here - there is no article sub-breakdown below the state-scoped list. Requires the `estamp.read` scope.
